Kelly was quick to dispel any drama that may stem from his tweet, assuring fans that there was no new "tea" to spill. "We spend so much time together for 10 years…It was funny in the beginning when we completed each other's sentences," he said around the release of his book "I Hate Everyone, Except You." "But it got to be like, 'OK, we need a break from each other.'" Speaking with the Connecticut Post after the fact, Kelly clarified that he wasn't trying to stir the pot with his previous statements.

In response to Kelly's tweet, one Twitter user replied, "Why would you care! #stopthedrama #youstartedthis."Kelly then shared how he ended up realizing he was blocked, explaining he and London had been tagged in the same tweet.
